Novel herbicides are provided.
A haloalkylsulfonanilide derivative represented by the formula (1) or an agrochemically acceptable salt thereof:
the formula (1):
wherein Z is -C(R 9 )(R 10 )- or -N(R 11 )-, A is an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or -N(R 12 )-, W is an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, m is an integer of from 0 to 3, n is an integer of from 0 to 3, m+n is from 1 to 3, R 1 is halo C 1 -C 6 alkyl, R 2 is a hydrogen atom, C 1 -C 6 alkyl or the like, each of R 3 and R 4 is independently a hydrogen atom, C 1 -C 6 alkyl or the like, each of R 5 , R 6 , R 7 ,R 8 , R 9 and R 10 is independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen, C 1 -C 6 alkyl or the like, each of R 11 and R 12 is a hydrogen atom, C 1 -C 6 alkyl, halo C 1 -C 6 alkyl or the like, and X is independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen, C 1 -C 6 alkyl, or the like.
