摘要：
A tire comprising a reinforcement structure comprising cords of a TRIPLEX steel is disclosed. The cords may have a 2 + 1 construction, a 2 x construction, a 2 + 2 construction or 5 x construction. The TRIPLEX steel is of the generic composition Fe x Mn y Al z C containing 18-28 % manganese, 9-12 % aluminum, and 0.7 -1.2 % carbon (in mass %) and is composed of an austenitic γ-Fe(Mn, Al, C) solid solution matrix possessing a fine dispersion of nano-size K-carbides (Fe,Mn) 3 AlC 1-x and α-Fe(Al, Mn) ferrite of varying volume fractions.
