The invention relates to a device for injecting fuel over a cylinder head (2) of an engine, comprising a tubular body (11), an injection nozzle (13) forming an extension of the tubular body (11), a needle (12) extending coaxially to the nozzle (13) in the form of a rod, an end of which comprises a head (120) forming a valve on a seat (130) supported by the injection nozzle (13), an actuator (10) being capable of causing a movement of the head (120) so as to open the valve, the needle (12) being capable of axially resonating when the same is subjected to axial pulses at a predetermined nominal frequency by the actuator (10). A system for mounting the device comprises a spacer (3) for bearing on the cylinder head (2), as well as on a front surface (113) of the tubular body (11) at the connection to the nozzle (13).
