Abstract:
A microwave heating construct (100), comprising:
a top panel (108) and a bottom panel opposite one another, the top panel including a plurality of cuts (118) that define a movable portion (116) of the top panel, wherein the movable portion includes microwave energy interactive material (104), the microwave energy interactive material being operative for converting at least a portion of impinging microwave energy into heat;
a pair of side panels (112, 114) joined to the top panel and the bottom panel, wherein the pair of side panels, top panel, and bottom panel define an interior space (102); and
a cross member (138) for extending at least partially across the movable portion of the top panel, the cross member being for urging the movable portion toward the interior space.
