摘要：
A method for decoding the intra prediction mode of a current block of a video signal is disclosed. A flag indicates whether the intra mode of the current block is the most probable mode MPM among the intra modes of neighbouring blocks. If not, a prediction mode PredMode is decoded and compared with the MPM. If said PredMode is greater than or equal to MPM, then the final prediction mode is determined as PredMode+1.
