The present invention relates to a composition containing plant matter and synthetic fibres, characterised in that said composition includes: at least 10 wt% and at most 95 wt% of a thermoplastic composition (a) including at least one polyolefin and at least one thermoplastic starch; and at least 5 wt% and at most 90 wt% of synthetic fibres (b) having a diameter of 2 to 35 microns and a specific modulus of 25 to 230 GPa.m
