An apparatus, method and system configured to select radio access parameters between communication devices. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a processor (720) and memory (750) including computer program code. The memory (750) and the computer program code are configured to, with the processor (720), cause the apparatus to determine an estimated data rate between a first endpoint communication device and a second endpoint communication device, and select at least one of a radio interface and a radio interface data rate from the first endpoint communication device in accordance with the estimated data rate.
