An optical multi carrier generator is suggested based on an acousto optic modulator with integrated partially reflective mirrors so that a multitude of optical wavelengths at a spectral distance can be created out of a single continuous wave light whereas the created optical lightwaves are separated spatial such that they can be modulated individually.
