摘要：
An internal combustion engine (1) for operation in a switchable manner with liquid fuel or gaseous fuel operates with pilot injection in the gas mode, wherein in the event that the injectors (5, 8) provided for the pilot injection in the gas mode and for the injection in liquid fuel mode are connected to a common accumulator (6), the pressure level thereof is lower for the pilot injection in the gas mode than for the operation with liquid fuel.
