A liquid supply system (20i) comprising an electrical device, a liquid source (200), a liquid supply structure, an adapter (299) having electrically conductive terminals (408), and a first restriction portion (210). The contact portions of the electrically conductive terminals arranged in a contact portion plane (40) which is neither parallel nor perpendicular to a plane defined by a mounting direction leading edge of the liquid supply structure. The first restriction portion (210) is provided at a position located closer to the contact portion plane (40).
