A collapsible insulated bag (10) designed to allow items retained within an inner pouch (32) thereof to remain within predetermined temperature ranges for predetermined periods of time and wherein the bags (10) are designed to be easily compressed or compacted for storage or shipment to end users. The bags (10) include at least an outer reflective layer (11), an intermediate open foam layer (20) and the inner pouch layer (32).
