The recording unit (11) forms an image on a print medium (2) having an adhesive face (2b). The protection member (41, 21) presses against the adhesive face (2b) to protect the adhesive face (2b). The rotor pair (22, 24) includes rotors (22, 24) to sandwich and press the print medium (2) and the protection member (41, 21) therebetween. The conveyance unit (103) is configured to rotate the rotor pair (22, 24) to convey the print medium (2) and the protection member (41,21) together to an image forming position. The protection member (41, 21) is configured to separate from the adhesive face (2b) before discharge of the print medium (2) to an outside of the image forming apparatus.
