Preferably, the control device (50) determines the charging rate based on the difference between the amount of charge corresponding to full charge of the battery (10) and the current remaining amount of charge, and the temperature difference. Preferably, the vehicle (100) on which the battery (10) is mounted repeatedly carries out charging and vehicle-running. The control device (50) determines the charging rate according to the temperature increase expected amount when the vehicle runs next time.
