摘要：
A process for cleaning at least a part of a ship's hull above the low load line which has become discoloured above the low load line;
said method comprising applying to a discoloured ship's hull coated with a copper-containing anti-fouling coating composition, a cleaning solution comprising water and an organic carboxylic acid having a molecular weight of 400 g/mol or less and which comprises at least one hydrophilic group and at least one carboxylic acid group or comprises at least two carboxylic acid groups, so as to remove at least a part of said discolouration;
wherein at least a part of the ship's hull above the low load line has been exposed to sea water for a period of no more than 60 days, e.g. during a sea trial period.
