The present invention provides a method of preparing a carbon fiber-reinforced silicon carbide composite material, wherein carbon nanotubes are formed in the composite material, and then metal silicon is melted and infiltrated into the composite material, so the amount ofunreacted metal is reduced and the strength of the composite material is improved, and provides a carbon fiber-reinforced silicon carbide composite material prepared by the method.
