A bidirectional resonant forward boost power converter (100). E.g.
A primary winding of a transformer (102) is coupled in series with a first switch (104) to a first terminal pair (106, 108), the other end of and a second terminal pair (110, 112) and further in parallel to a storage inductance (L STOR 116). The secondary winding of the transformer (102) is coupled to a resonant capacitance (116) and a resonat inductance (L S,RES 118). A second switch (122) is connected in parallel thereto and a third switch (120) in series to a second terminal pair (110, 112). Storage capcitances (124, C126) are coupled to the respective terminal pairs (106, 108; 110,112).
