The electric power supply assembly with assisted establishment of electrical contact of the type having a power supply arm (4) supported by a post (5) along the trackway that comes into electrical contact with a longitudinal conducting track (2) borne by the vehicle is characterized in that the arm (4) has at the end a rolling or sliding means which comes into moving contact with an adjacent track (20) running alongside the conducting track (2) at the start of the length of the latter track. This invention applies to the field of electrically powered vehicles that have at least one longitudinal power supply conducting track.
