System for monitoring the wear of the synchronizers of a manual gear box comprising processing means configured to perform a procedure for identifying an indicative value of the contribution to the wear (DeltaG/T (i)) of a i-th synchronizer, said procedure comprising the steps of calculating a time interval (T) of synchronization of the i-th gear, calculating an numeric integer value (DeltaG) equal to the number of gears skipped when engaging the i-th gear, calculating of a ratio between the numeric integer value (DeltaG) and the time interval (T) of synchronization.
