Adjusting device for headlights (1) with an adjusting screw (3), running in a predetermined adjustment direction, which is in threaded engagement with a light module (2) of the headlight to pivot same about a horizontal or vertical axis, and with a drive means (10, 11) arranged at a rear end of the adjusting screw (3) coaxially thereto, wherein a retaining sleeve (10) holding the rear end (9) of the adjusting screw (3) and a drive element (11) surrounding the retaining sleeve (10) are provided as a driving means, wherein the retaining sleeve (10) has radially yielding holding fingers (13) that press in an installed position against an inner surface (23) of the drive element (11), and wherein the retaining sleeve (10) and the drive element (11) are coupled to one another in a locking manner in the axial direction.
