A lid 85 is provided with a claw portion 88 configured to come in contact with, when a plug 55 is removed from a connection port 54 of a receptacle 53, the plug 55 or a hand of an operator who removes the plug 55, whereby changing a state that the lid 85 is opened or closed. A lid open/close switch 42 changes a state of a signal carried by a communication line 113 connected to a BMS 103 configured to control electrical communication between a receptacle 53 and a battery 6, in accordance with a state that the lid 85 is opened or closed. The BMS 103 interrupts or limits the electrical communication between the receptacle 53 and the battery 6 in accordance with the state of the signal carried by the communication line 113, before a connection between a terminal 78 of the plug 55 and a terminal 72 of the receptacle 53 is canceled.
