Provided are a medical information providing apparatus and method. The medical information providing apparatus comprises:
an image obtaining unit for capturing a shield room inside image of the shield room in which the target object is positioned;
a diagnosis information obtaining unit for obtaining diagnosis information related to a target object positioned in a shield room having a console room window for observation of the shield room;
at least one display unit for displaying the diagnostic information which is overlaid on the room image according to a first mode.
