The control information may comprise acknowledgement or non-acknowledgement channels. An apparatus for receiving control information comprises a transceiver for transmitting and receiving a signal. The apparatus comprises a controller for controlling to receive control information on a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), a resource of the PUCCH being identified by a resource index, to identify control information, and to transmit data based on the identified control information.
