The invention relates to a device for arranging a reflective-vest device (26) on a side door (10, 10') of a motor vehicle (46), which reflective-vest device (26) comprises at least one reflective vest (28) and at least one receiving element (30) which surrounds the reflective vest (28) at least in regions, wherein at least one first fastening means (40) is provided on the side door (10, 10'), to which first fastening means (40) the reflective-vest device (26) can be fastened with the interaction of the first fastening means (40) with at least one second fastening means (42) which is provided on the receiving element (30), and to a device of this type, in which at least one handle (36) is arranged on the receiving element (30), by means of which handle (36) the reflective-vest device (26) can be moved, relative to at least one door-side fastening means (44), into and out of operative connection with the door-side fastening means (44) in order to fasten the reflective-vest device (26) to the side door (10, 10').
