In the sealing element (1), the shank element (3, 4) consists of two parts, wherein the first part (3) of the shank element which is arranged closer to the sealing-element head (2) is configured in such a way that, in the mounted state, it bears against a fastening means (6) which can be introduced into the opening, but not against the wall of the drilled hole (5), and the second part (4) of the shank element which is arranged further away from the sealing-element head (2) is configured in such a way that, in the mounted state, it bears against the wall of the drilled hole (5), but not against a fastening means (6) which can be introduced into the opening.
