The invention relates to a drive train device for a motor vehicle, comprising a first component (10a; 10b), a second component (11a; 11b), which is connected to the first component (10a; 10b) so as to transmit torque and which at least substantially consists of a material formed from lightweight metal, and at least one element (12a; 12b), which is at least partially enclosed in the second component (11a; 11b) and which at least substantially consists of a predominantly iron-containing material, wherein the enclosed element (12a; 12b) is formed as a connecting element which, in order to produce the torque-transmitting connection, is connected integrally to the first component (10a; 10b). The invention further relates to a production process for producing the drive train device.
