The method comprises receiving, over a radio interface, a message comprising at least one barring parameter associated with a characteristic of a logical bearer 30 between the radio device and a core network 300. The method also comprises determining that an uplink data packet is associated with the characteristic of the logical bearer. The method also comprises determining, based at least on the barring parameter, whether access for transmitting the UL data packet 10 over the radio interface is allowed.
