摘要:
A spinal stabilization system according to the present invention, comprises:
an anchor member configured to be secured to a vertebra within a patient's body including:
a pedicle screw body;
a housing having internal threads ; and
a set screw;
a flexible element;
a rigid element securable to the anchor member and having an end portion with an end surface, an axial bore extending from the end surface, an outer surface, and an opening on the outer surface extending into the axial bore, the axial bore receiving a portion of the flexible element therein; and
a fastener extending through the opening in the outer surface of the rigid element to retain the flexible element in the axial bore.
