The invention relates to a method for producing a foil or a film (1), comprising the following steps: a) applying at least one material (2) for producing the foil or the film (1) to a moving belt (3), b) at least partially curing and/or partially drying the poured material (2), during which step b) the properties of said material and/or thermal state variables of a defined area around the belt (3) are recorded by means of at least one non-invasive spectroscopic method.
