摘要：
A display apparatus (1) is provided and includes a display panel (21), and a backlight unit (23) supplying light from the rear of the display panel (21). The backlight unit (23) includes an array of light sources (24) seated on a circuit board (231), a reflection sheet (232) formed on the top surface of the circuit board (231), a patterned metal reflection layer (234) opposite to the reflection sheet (232) with a vacant layer (233) therebetween. The reflection sheet (232) is formed on the circuit board (231) to reflect light emitted from the light sources (24) to the patterned metal reflection layer (234) underneath the display panel (21). The reflection sheet (232) is formed larger than the circuit board (231) to extend further from the edge of the circuit board (231), the extended portion of the reflection sheet (232) being folded and raised to close the side surfaces of the vacant layer (233). The extended portion of the reflection sheet (232) reflects light of the light sources (24) and has a reflection pattern (236a) formed on its surface facing the light sources (24).
