A first and second of the vehicles (F1, F2) predict path data (PW1, PW2), which indicate at least one route that the first and second vehicles (F1, F2) will drive with a probability. The first and second vehicles (F1, F2) are registered in the region server (BS1) if the route of the first and second vehicles (F1, F2) indicated by the predicted path data (PW1, PW2) lies in the region (GB1). The region server (BS1) produces the information data in dependence on received sensor data of the first vehicle (F1). The produced information data are sent by the region server (BS1) to the second vehicle (F2) if the predicted path data (PW2) of the second vehicle (F2) overlap with the predicted path data (PW1) of the first vehicle (F1) and the second vehicle (F2) is registered in the region server (BS1).
