A control apparatus (10) for controlling a machine tool (20) on the basis of a machining program (30) is provided with: a storage unit (24) which stores an inspection item list (32) for a workpiece, said inspection item list (32) being associated with the machining program (30); and a display unit (26) which, when the machining program (30) is executed, displays the stored inspection items associated with the machining program (30).
