The invention relates to a membrane for a proton exchange membrane fuel cell, comprising (by weight in relation to the total weight of the membrane): 50 - 95% polymer A; and 5 - 50 wt.% polymer B, A being a cation exchange fluoropolymer, and B being an aromatic hydrocarbon polymer different from polymer A and comprising at least one aromatic ring on its polymer chain.
