[Problem to be Solved] To provide a power generation system which makes it possible to improve the degree of freedom of installation.
[Solution] A power generation system 1 is provided with: first fluid chambers 10a-10e that contain a fluid; a second fluid chamber 20 that contains the fluid; a communication flow channel 30 that communicates the first fluid chambers 10a-10e and the second fluid chamber 20 with each other; first pistons 40a-40e that are disposed such that the fluid in the first fluid chambers 10a-10e can be pressed; a second piston 50 that is disposed such that the fluid in the second fluid chamber 20 can be pressed; and power generation modules 60a-60e that convert pressing forces of the corresponding first pistons 40 into electricity using piezoelectric elements 63. The power generation elements 63 of the power generation modules 60a-60e generate power in the cases where the second piston 50 is pressed, and the pressing force is transmitted to the first pistons 40a-40e via the fluid, then the piezoelectric elements 63 are indirectly pressed due to the force thus transmitted.
