A measurement apparatus for measuring biological information by contacting a test site to a contact interface (14) includes a contact state detector (11) that detects a contact state of the test site on the contact interface (14), a biological sensor (13) that acquires biological information from the test site, a notification interface (12), and a controller (15) that measures the biological information based on output from the biological sensor (13). The controller (15) judges the contact state of the test site on the contact interface (14) based on output from the contact state detector (11) and provides notification, via a notification interface (12), of information related to the contact state.
