摘要：
A fixing device (40) includes a fixing belt (43) rotatable in a rotation direction and a nip former (41) stretching the fixing belt (43). A pressure rotator (45) presses against the nip former (41) via the fixing belt (43) to form a fixing nip (N1) between the fixing belt (43) and the pressure rotator (45), through which a recording medium is conveyed. A separator (48) is disposed downstream from the nip former (41) in a recording medium conveyance direction and stretches the fixing belt (43). A presser (49) is interposed between the fixing nip (N1) and an upstream end (48a) of the separator (48) in the rotation direction of the fixing belt (43). The presser (49) comes into contact with an inner circumferential surface of the fixing belt (43) to press the fixing belt (43) against the pressure rotator (45).
