The present invention provides a big data analysis and processing system (100) and method for a passenger transport apparatus (500), wherein the big data analysis and processing system (100) comprises: a data collection module (100), the data collection module comprising: an imaging sensor and/or depth sensing sensor (111, 112), configured to constantly collect image data and/or depth map data of at least one region of the passenger transport apparatus (500); and an image processing module (102), configured to process the image data and/or depth map data to acquire a plurality of types of data of the passenger transport apparatus, comprising one or more of device running data, load data, abnormal behavior data and contingency data; a database (200), the database gathering and storing the plurality of types of data; and a statistical analysis unit (300), the statistical analysis unit performing classification and statistics on the plurality of types of data according to a statistical analysis method, and generating an analysis report.
