A passenger transport vehicle water uploading apparatus (200) for uploading water to an aircraft, the passenger transport vehicle water uploading apparatus (200) comprising:
a. an inlet (202) to receive water;
b. a purification chamber (206) in fluid communication with the inlet (202), adapted to receive or hold water from the inlet (202), comprising a source of ultraviolet radiation disposed within the chamber and capable of irradiating at least a portion of the interior of the chamber (206); and
c. an outlet (204) to remove purified water from the chamber (206) after a single pass therethrough.
