Provided are: a polymerizable composition that contains a polymerizable liquid crystal compound represented by formula (I) and a urethane(meth)acrylate monomer containing a urethane bond and at least three (meth)acryloyl groups (in the formula, A represents a cyclic divalent group (at least one of which is a divalent saturated hydrocarbon ring group); L represents -C(=O)O-, -OC(=O)-, or the like; m represents an integer from 3 to 12; Sp 1 and Sp 2 represent alkylene or the like; and Q 1 or Q 2 represents a polymerizable group); a film containing a layer obtained by curing the polymerizable composition; a film adjacently containing a layer obtained by curing a polymerizable composition containing a polymerizable liquid crystal compound represented by formula (I), and a layer obtained by curing a composition containing a urethane(meth)acrylate monomer; and a method for producing the film. The polymerizable composition contains a liquid-crystalline polymerizable liquid crystal compound having a low birefringence, and can yield a highly-durable optical film.
