A hood of a vehicle (101) includes a rear beam (30), a front end module (34) or grill opening reinforcement, a thermoplastic central cover (1) extending between the rear beam (30) and the front end module (34), the thermoplastic central cover (1) comprising reinforcements (20, 21) along sides of the thermoplastic central cover between the rear beam (30) and the front end module (34), the reinforcements (20, 21) protruding away from a top surface of the thermoplastic central cover, with a flange (26) extending from a side of the reinforcement and fenders (5, 6) connected to the front end module (34) and thermoplastic central cover (1), wherein each fender (5, 6) extends over a reinforcement (20, 21) and connects to a top surface of the thermoplastic central cover (1).
