Device and method for producing a semi-finished product web. The invention relates to a device comprising a plurality of connecting devices (5) for the semi-continuous production of semi-finished product webs made from web subsections (9) reinforced unidirectionally with continuous fibre, as well as to a method for producing such semi-finished product webs, wherein the fibres in the final semi-finished product webs are aligned at an angle x (16) that does not equal 0° up to and including 90° to the longest axis of the final semi-finished product web in question.
