Systems and methods for providing physical navigation guidance via augmented reality (AR) environments are provided. An AR experience is generated based on navigation information including a starting location and a destination location (330). The AR experience comprises physical navigation guidance from the starting location to the destination location (330) using virtual elements (310, 312, 332) that are associated with either or both the starting location and/or the destination location (330). For example, virtual elements in the AR environment can transition from virtual elements associated with the starting location to virtual elements associated with the destination location as the user (304) progresses from the starting location to the destination location (330).
