Described is a method and a sensor arrangement for determining a physical quantity. The described method comprises stimulating a capacitor device (200a-d) being formed within a native component carrier (210); measuring a capacitance value of the capacitor device (200a-d); and determining the physical quantity based on the measured capacitance value. Further described is a method for using a native component carrier (210) as a transducer for detecting the value of a physical quantity.
