A method for making a safety glass (10) which involves roughening at least one glass plate (1); laying a vitreous frit (2) on at least one surface of the plate (1); heating the plate (1) and frit (2) from 600°C to 700°C, preferably 650°C, to vitrify the latter on the plate (1); cooling said plate (1) and said vitreous frit (2).
The invention also includes the production of a safety glass (10) obtained by the method described above.
