A foot for a household appliance (100) comprising a hydraulic plate (101), a sheath (103) being fixedly connected with the hydraulic plate (101), an adjustable foot (104) being arranged in the sheath (103) and capable of axially moving relative to the sheath (103), and a communicating device communicating at least two feet for the household appliance for the flowing of a hydraulic medium between the feet of the household appliance; wherein an accommodating chamber is formed by the hydraulic plate (101), the sheath (103) and the adjustable foot (104); the hydraulic medium (102) is arranged in the accommodating chamber, and the hydraulic medium (102) is compressed or expanded along with the change of pressure to drive the adjustable foot (104) to move axially in the sheath (103) for leveling. A control device (1200) for turning on/off the flow of the hydraulic medium is provided on the communicating device, a better leveling support effect is achieved by controlling the on/off of the communicating device which communicate the feet of the household appliance.
