A method for providing multimedia content in a system is provided, the method comprising: generating a packet according to a moving picture experts group, MPEG, media transport, MMT, protocol, the packet including a packet header and a packet payload, wherein the packet payload comprises a signalling message related to a package of the multimedia content; and transmitting the generated packet to a receiving entity, wherein the signalling message comprises: a message type field (601) comprising information on a type of signalling information comprised in the signaling message, a length field (602) comprising information on a length of the signalling message, and an extensive information field (603) comprising information (611) related to each of a plurality of tables comprised in a payload field (604) of the signalling message, an identifier of each of the plurality of tables, and a version of each of the plurality of tables, and the payload field (604) comprising the plurality of tables, and wherein a first table of the plurality of tables comprises information on the at least one remaining table from the plurality of tables, the at least one remaining table from the plurality of tables being required for accessing the package, wherein the information on the at least one remaining table from the plurality of tables comprises an identifier of each of the at least one remaining table from the plurality of tables, a version of each of the at least one remaining table from the plurality of tables, and first location information of each of the at least one remaining table from the plurality of tables.
