The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising determining whether to report a first type power headroom report, PHR, or a second type PHR, based on a scheduling signaling for a physical uplink shared channel, PUSCH, transmission; in case that the scheduling singling for the PUSCH transmission is received, transmitting, to a base station, transmitting, to a base station, the first type PHR; and in case that the scheduling singling for the PUSCH transmission is not received, transmitting, to the base station, the second type PHR, wherein the first type PHR comprises a power headroom, PH, calculated based on the scheduling signaling for the PUSCH transmission, and wherein the second type PHR comprises a PH calculated based on a default configuration.
