摘要:
Device tracking system for monitoring a target body structure and localizing a device inside said target body structure, it comprising:
a control unit,
a device comprising one steering element (17) to be handled outside the target body structure, one steerable element (16) to be introduced inside the target body structure.
one probe (22) to be removably secured to the patient,
one tracker to be secured to the steerable element (16).
The control unit stores one ultrasound image of the target body structure. The probe (22) and the tracker communicate, and the control unit is able to localize, in real time, the steerable element (16). The control unit displays, the stored ultrasound image and displays, in real time, the localisation of the at steerable element (16) on said at least one ultrasound image.
