The present invention concerns a computer implemented system and method for continuous online flow survey and dysfunction monitoring whereby dysfunction includes flow values resulting from abnormal consumption events and leaks sized and ranged according to the characteristics of the surveyed District Metered Area of water distributing networks.
The present invention further concerns the use of the computer implemented method to produce a consumption model ready for use in off-line hydraulic network modelling and preferably use this model as tool for design of network extensions or improvements of the network.
The present invention further concerns the use of the computer implemented method to produce a consumption model ready for use in off-line hydraulic network modelling and preferably use this model as tool online pressure control keeping the pressure at the lowest admissible and guaranteed rate.
