An ophthalmologic apparatus of an embodiment includes an examination part, moving mechanism, three imaging parts, extracting part and controller. The examination part includes an optical system for optically examining an eye. The moving mechanism moves the optical system. The three imaging parts obtain images of the eye from three different directions. The extracting part extracts a partial image from each of two images substantially simultaneously obtained by a concerned imaging part, the concerned imaging part being two imaging parts except one imaging part among the three imaging parts. The controller is configured to perform automatic alignment that controls the moving mechanism based on a positional relationship between two characteristic parts specified for two partial images or to control for assisting manual alignment that controls the moving mechanism based on an instruction input from an operation means, based on the two partial images extracted by the extracting part.
