The electrode assembly comprises: a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate, which have opposite polarities; and a spacer, which is used for separating the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate, wherein the spacer comprises at least two layers, and the first electrode plate, the second electrode plate and the spacer are wound to form the electrode assembly. By means of the electrode assembly, the service life of a battery can be prolonged, and the safety of the battery can be improved.
